Steve Effros is an attorney and fifty-year veteran of the cable television and broadband industry, starting in 1971 at the FCC as an Attorney/Advisor, then as a Partner in the Law Firm of Brown and Effros, and finally as CEO of the Cable Telecommunications Association (CATA) for 23 years. He's also a partner in Beyond Broadband Technology, LLC, which holds a major patent for a new approach to cybersecurity.
KAM is the founder of The McGrail Foundation. He's been involved with open source software for over 20 years and is also a member of The Apache Software Foundation. He lives in Fairfax, Virginia.
Michael Rizzo is a director of The McGrail Foundation. He's been involved with information technology for over 20 years. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
Chris has been involved with the Information Technology and NonProfit sectors for over 20 years. He lives in Manassas, Virginia.
Anne P. Mitchell, Attorney at Law, is the Dean of Cyberlaw and Cybersecurity at Lincoln Law School, and CEO of the Institute for Social Internet Public Policy (ISIPP). A graduate of Stanford Law School, Anne has been involved in Internet law and policy issues, from both the legal and the technical sides, since 1998. She was the Director of Legal and Public Affairs for Mail Abuse Prevention Systems (MAPS), the very first anti-spam company. She currently serves on the board of the Denver Internet Exchange, is of counsel to the CyberGreen Institute, and is Chair Emeritus of the Asilomar Microcomputer Workshop. Anne lives in Boulder, Colorado.
